Violent Storms in North East Including Bridgeport & Philadelphia; Possible Tornado

A violent and sudden change in the weather (including a possible tornado) ripped a path through many North-Eastern cities including Philadelphia & Bridgeport. Nine buildings were partially or fully collapsed in Bridgeport according to an AP report; at least one was completely destroyed. Wind speeds where reported at 75 mph around Philly at the time of the storm. Temperatures reportedly dropped 20-25 degrees, and very rapidly, through the region as the storm raced from Lancaster through New Jersey.

The damage is widespread throughout Bridgeport which was hardest hit. Remarkably, the injuries reported at this time have all been minor. Mayor Bill Finch, stated in a press conference, "I don't think we've ever seen so much destruction happen in 7 or 8 minutes" in reference to the fast moving nature of the storm. Bridgeport is under a state of emergency and had a curfew imposed at 5:00pm.
