Found dead: Simon Monjack, husband of Brittany Murphy

English screenwriter, film director and producer Simon Monjack, 40, was found dead in the Hollywood Hills home that he shared with his wife, actress Brittany Murphy. Murphy passed away just five months ago when she was also found unresponsive in their home.
Late Sunday night, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an emergency call and arrived at the house of Simon Monjack. Shortly after, Monjack was pronounced dead. Monjack's mother has revealed that her sons health has not been good and he had been seeing doctors for testing. According to People.com, Monjack's mother had mentioned that he had a "slight heart attack" about a week after his wife's death. At this point it looks as if Monjack has died of natural causes, though some medication was found and police remained at the scene.

The death of Brittany Murphy was very sad. Now an additional youthful life has been lost, but this time it's within the same family, her husband Simon Monjack passed away. Original reports stated that both have died from heart attacks, and at such a young age. However, Brittany Murphy's death was later ruled an accident from a combination of pneumonia and a bad immune method coupled with an overdose of medication that she hadn't been prescribed. Simon Monjack was so young when he died, only 39.
