Charlie Sheen, star of 'Two and a Half Men' and numerous movies, was released from jail on Friday night, after being arrested during a domestic dispute with his wife, Brooke Mueller. Charlie was arrested Christmas day at an Aspen, Colorado ski resort after Brooke called 911 and told them that he had threatened her with a knife. Both Charlie and Brooke admit that they fought after Brooke told him she wanted a divorce and full custody of their two sons. Brooke claims that he held her down and threatened her with a switchblade. However, Charlie claims that while he broke her eyeglasses, the argument was mostly verbal.

Just seven months ago, Brooke told In Touch Weekly that she found his bad boy persona "hysterical" and that he is "just amazing". However, this is not the first time that Charlie has been in trouble with the law. In 1997 he pled no contest to a charge of battery towards his then girlfriend. Also, Denise Richards, his second wife, obtained a restraining order from him in 2006, claiming that he physically abused her. Charlie is due back in court on February 8th, facing charges of assault, menacing and criminal mischief and has also been instructed not to contact Brooke.
