Avid fans of American Idol were the first to hear what would quickly become a viral hit: Larry Platt singing his own song titled 'Pants on the Ground' for the American Idol judges. Although Larry was rejected from show for age reasons (the 62 year old is a few years over the age cap of 28), he has become an overnight sensation. The video of his song has over 500,000 views and, according to Kens5 News, Larry has already received a phone call from Ryan Seacrest. "He said he liked the song and he told me to keep getting down" Larry said.
